Short History of Nirvana

 

The group formed in Washington, United States 1987. Driven by the vocalist Curt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic is filled, the group released their first album in 1989 under an indie label.

In 1990, Nirvana signed with major label DGC and released their second album Nevermind. DGC estimates it could sell the album at least 250 thousand copies. But the opposite happened. Success Smells Like Teen Spirit boost sales to 400 thousand copies in just 1 week.

Trying to repeat the successful first album, titled second album In Utero was released 2 years later. Unfortunately the prestige of the 2nd album is not the first bright.

8 April 1994 is the end of history when the motor Nirvana Kurt Cobain was found dead at his home in Seattle Washington. Several compilation albums they still managed to release a few years later. It is estimated that Nirvana has sold approximately 50 million copies of their albums worldwide.

Currently, its members consist of Kiedis, Balzary, guitarist John Frusciante and drummer Chad Smith. Ex-ex-members, including Dix Denney, Jack Sherman, Cliff Martinez, Dwayne "Blackbird" McKnight, DH Peligro, Arik Marshall, Jesse Tobias, and Dave Navarro.
RHCP has released nine studio albums, nine # 1 modern rock hits, and has sold nearly 50 million albums in the world (37 million sold for the third album Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Californication and By the Way).

Virgiawan Listianto popular with the name of Iwan Fals is known as 'representatives of the people' who loudly voicing the hearts of the grassroots appeal. Throughout his career for 20 years in the music world he has proven to have a special group of fans close to the poverty, injustice and unemployment. His songs are often associated with social protests like the once famous through Oemar Bakrie (1981) and Bento (1991).
Great name it bears today reached after a full gravel and dusty road in the rain and hot sun in the community 'street musician'. The man who was given the nickname "the Great Hero of Asia" by Time magazine Asia edition of 29 April 2002 has experienced many changes over the last six years.

Although the recordings had entered the kitchen and the album is received by the market, Iwan secretly still singing from house to house, a celebration ceremony and circumcision, while occasionally in the Market Shocked, Block M because he had to support his family. In creating a song, Iwan got inspiration from newspapers, television, and the natural surroundings. While the song was inspired by an old grasshopper grasshopper on a leaf that clings for days in his garden.
After the album Crazy People (1993), Iwan, who had studied at the Jakarta Arts Institute of Education (now Jakarta Art Institute) disappeared for about 10 years of frenetic recording industry. In that period, Iwan joined the various groups, namely Swami, Dalbo, Kantata Takwa, and Kantata Samsara. Collaborations that involve several renowned musicians and cultural experts, such as Setiawan Djody, Sawung Jabo, WAS Rendra, and Jocky Suryoprayogo.
Iwan also did some co-operation outside the group, of whom gave birth to the Son album Puppet (with Sawung Jabo), Terminal and The Fringe (along with Franky Sahilatua), and Eye Heart (with Bobby Erres). New in 2002, Iwan released an album titled Sound Heart, a comeback album that really is the result of his work with his group.
